The Duke Department of Pathology seeks a dynamic Anatomic Pathologist for a full-time position at Duke University in Durham, NC. Ideally this Duke Pathologist will cover at least two of the following pathology service areas: Cytopathology, Breast, Genitourinary, and/or Head and Neck. The Department of Pathology is dedicated to delivering accurate, concise, and timely pathology services to patients and their physicians.

This position is based on the campus of Duke University Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.
There is opportunity for teaching/resident education as well as collaboration with the predominantly subspecialty-based pathology faculty in the Department of Pathology.
Faculty appointment with the Duke School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and/or additional training in areas of anatomic pathology, specifically breast and gynecologic pathology, and/or subspecialty fellowship training in cytopathology is preferred.
Candidates must have a MD or DO degree, a valid NC medical license or qualifications to obtain one, and ABP Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Genitourinary fellowship training and/or sign out experience in Genitourinary Pathology is strongly preferred.
Ideal candidates will be excellent diagnosticians with superior communication skills who function well in a team setting.
