About the Role:

The Medical Eye Center is now hiring a dedicated and passionate Optometrist to join our medically-focused eye care team in Charles Town, WV.  In this role, you will focus on diagnosing and managing conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and providing post-operative care for surgeries. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists, contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams focused on diagnosing and managing ocular diseases
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries such as cataract removal
• Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases
• Educate patients about their eye health and preventative care
• Collaborate with our ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient care and case management
• Stay current with clinical advancements to provide the best care for our patients

About You:

You’d be a great fit if you bring the following:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• West Virginia state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
