About the Role:
The Medical Eye Center is now hiring a dedicated and passionate Optometrist to join our medically-focused eye care team in Charles Town, WV. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing and managing conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and providing post-operative care for surgeries. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists, contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams focused on diagnosing and managing ocular diseases
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries such as cataract removal
Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases
Educate patients about their eye health and preventative care
Collaborate with our ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient care and case management
Stay current with clinical advancements to provide the best care for our patients

About You:
You’d be a great fit if you bring the following:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
West Virginia state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
