Phoenixville Eye Care Specialists, founded in 1978, is a busy suburban practice located approximately 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia. We are currently 1 ophthalmologist, 2 optometrists, and 2 opticians - seeking to replace our departing medical optometrist. This position offers a four-day work week with Thursdays off. No weekend hours required.

We are in a growing suburb outside of Philadelphia and enjoy being the "go-to" eye care group for the community. Candidates can choose to live near Phoenixville or on the Main Line with access to incredible, nationally-renowned public and private schools. We are within 2 hours of New York City, Washington DC, and the New Jersey and Delaware beaches, but with much more affordable housing costs and tax bases.

Our practice philosophy is to combine ethical, patient-centered care with state-of-the art knowledge and technology. The ideal candidate will have both excellent clinical skills and outstanding bedside manner. Our practice and insurance panel ratings are consistently 5 star and the highest in the region.

Our office has 7 exam lanes as well as HVF and OCT diagnostic equipment. We have busy contact lens and optical departments, although this position will focus on comprehensive medical care. We enjoy extremely high staff retention and our team is well trained, making this a “walk in and start working” opportunity. You will be able to make adjustments to your schedule and workflow as you see fit. Finally, we have invested in a new EHR platform with the newest features and functionalities to set our practice up for continued success.
