The Michigan College of Optometry is seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives on both didactic and clinical education and enjoys preparing students to be outstanding clinicians. 

Full-time 12-month tenure-track faculty position. Responsible for teaching in laboratory, classroom, and clinic. The candidate will be expected to develop in patient care, teaching/advising, scholarly/professional activities, and service.

Required Education: At the time of appointment, the applicant must hold the Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and must either have completed an accredited optometric residency or have an equivalent degree or experience in patient care.

Required Work Experience:  At least one year of residency experience or commensurate work/professional experience. Residency experience in specialty contact lens and anterior segment disease is preferred.

Required Licenses & Certification:  At the time of appointment, the applicant must have or be eligible for a Michigan optometry license with DPA and TPA certifications for appointment to the college's clinical staff.
