The Opportunity:
MultiCare Health System is seeking an Optometrist to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice at Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Washington. The Optometrist uses skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care. The provider must be able to independently examine, diagnose, treat and manage common ocular conditions, diseases and injuries as specified by the Washington state board of optometric practice. Appropriate consultation will be sought when needed.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
MultiCare provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, MultiCare shares a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $142,376.00 and the pay scale is $142,376.00 - $193,107.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
Requirements
Successful completion of a professional optometric degree program leading to an OD
The program must be accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE)
Current unrestricted Washington state license to practice optometry
Minimum one (1) year of experience as an Optometris
