Northern Valley Eye Care has an opening for a skilled optometrist motivated to practice to their full scope of licensure. This is a full-time position in a medically-based practice with a large primary care and disease patient base.  Unencumbered by dependence on routine vision plans, we focus on providing great personalized care with a purpose of improving our patient’s lives.  We are a private practice located in the beautiful state of Vermont.  Nestled in the historic Lake Champlain Valley, we are 25 minutes north of Burlington, 1 hour south of Montreal, and 50 minutes from two popular ski resorts.

Constructed in 2015, our 6,000 square foot office comfortably accommodates our large patient base and large support staff of 16 including 3 certified paraoptometrists and 2 opticians.  Chairside assistants provide real-time chart documentation for the doctor.  The office is spacious with 8 fully-stocked exam rooms, a contact lens suite, separate doctor’s offices, staff lounge, optical lab, and large dispensary.  Our equipment includes an Optos California wide-field retinal camera, Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT with angiography, Haag-Streit Octopus 900 Field Analyzer, wireless Heine BIO’s, Lipiscan, Lipiflow and various standard devices.

We practice full-scope primary care optometry. While we fit monthly SCL’s, RGP’s and specialty lenses, the majority of our contact lens patients wear daily disposable lenses.
