Clarendon Vision Development Center is a well-established specialty optometry practice only 20 mi from downtown Chicago! We are seeking a motivated Neuro-Optometrist ready to join our patient-oriented team. Be prepared to have a life-changing experience of positively influencing patients’ lives while developing and nurturing your professional growth! The ideal candidate will examine eyes and visual systems, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment, as well as diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. Patient care may include athletes after a concussion, adults with whiplash after a car accident, older adults with balance issues, children struggling in school, and patients with a traumatic brain injury that may have eye tracking and ocular teaming difficulties.

What you Need:
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
An Optometry License in the state of Illinois
A love for personal growth and changing people's lives.
Extensive knowledge of performing comprehensive evaluations of sensory-motor, visual field, accommodative, and oculomotor function
Perform proper visual processing evaluations
Confident with recommending and managing Vision therapy options
Organization and communication skills to consistently and adequately coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and rehabilitation specialists, such as occupational, physical, and speech therapists
