We are a busy, well-established, reputable practice with excellent support staff, large patient base and a modern, spacious new office building looking for a full time optometrist to join our dynamic team! Enjoy state of the art equipment such as Optos California, Zeiss OCT with Angiography, Virtual Visual Field analyzer (as well as traditional HVF) and Atlas Topographer. The practice is privately owned. We have a young professional family-like culture with patient service at the center.

You will have at least 3, and up to 5, fully equipped lanes each day with at least 2 technicians in addition to a dedicated imaging technician. We are on EHR and have 2 monitors in each lane to view images. Dragon dictation is available to facilitate your note typing and get you home on time each day. We will support you to the max as we want you to succeed! Our new office is designed with ergonomics in mind to keep your body healthy for the long term, including with mirror image rooms (to avoid repetitive use), customizable sit-to-stand electronically controlled desks, light switches at waist height and in reach of the exam chair. Many exam rooms have windows and you will have your own office with 1-2 large windows and a private parking space. Modern filtration units have been installed to keep our air clean and temperature well controlled. Our new office is a dream. Patients are booked from 8:00am to 3:30pm. Call is very light with no ER or hospital call. Our patients are grateful and salt-of-the-earth people.

Duties:

• Perform comprehensive eye health exams including refractions, gonioscopy and dilated fundus examinations
• Interpret imaging studies including, but not limited to Optos fundus photos, OCT, visual field
• Provide confident, high level optometric care
• Collaborate with local ophthalmologists and optometrists on cross referrals for patient care
• Additional Responsibilities as needed
