Advance equipment we use includes Ellex Tango Laser, Zeiss HFA-3 Visual Field Analyzer, Cirrus 6000 OCT with Forum diagnostic software, and OPTUS Daytona for our fundus photos.  Screening equipment includes Cannon NCT, I-Care tonometer, Cannon Auto-Refractor/Keratometer, Octopus 600 field analyzer, and Zeiss topographers for pre-lasik and contact lens patients.

So who should apply? Ideally, we are looking for someone interested in a full-time position primarily based at our Wasilla location with coverage at our Anchorage office as needed. Residency trained candidates or doctors with prior experience are preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply. A current Alaska optometric license is a must. Certification in advanced ophthalmic procedures and LASERs is highly preferable. And probably most importantly, someone who is looking for a career, not just a job.

Salary range is $120,000 + DOE. Benefits include 8 paid holidays, paid time off, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance paid at 100% for employed OD, relocation stipend negotiable, matching IRA, AKOA & AOA dues paid, and annual bonus opportunity.
