Referral only center with an emphasis on cornea and cataract surgery as well as refractive   surgery (LASIK/PRK/ICL/RLE) is seeking an optometrist with strong medical diagnostic skills to join our well-established practice with 4 optometrists and 2 ophthalmologists. We are currently looking to add both an additional optometrist as well another ophthalmologist as we continue to grow. Our practice performs over 4000 cataract surgeries, 150 corneal transplants, thousands of SLT and YAG lasers and refractive surgery procedures yearly. We also perform the highest volume of corneal crosslinking procedures in the Pittsburgh area.  

Our central office is in Wexford, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, PA where we have recently opened our Office Based Surgery Suite (OBSS) and perform our LASIK, PRK and CXL procedures. Additionally, we have 4 satellite offices all located within an easy commute from the city. All offices are well equipped with diagnostic equipment, staff, and EHR. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented optometrist to pick up an immediate volume of patients. This role allows you to see a wide variety of pathology and refractive needs. Duties would include a variety of pre and post operative care, refractive consultations for LASIK/PRK/ICL/RLE as well as glaucoma, cataract, crosslinking, keratoconus, and emergency consults. A desire to practice medical optometry dealing with anterior segment pathology is necessary.
