If you are a highly skilled, motivated, and genuinely friendly doc (no snobs please), launch a fantastic career with us, in our gorgeous, state-of-the-art, free-standing, 24,000 sf eye center with full optical, technical, surgical and administrative support.  

Work with every type of patient, injury, and medical/surgical eye disease, in collaboration with me and our four fabulous, eminently capable ODs.  

This is not the boonies.  We handle most medical and surgical eye issues in house. Our OD's are contact lens experts (including complex scleral fits) and manage all non-surgical peds, cornea, glaucoma, uveitis, retina, neuro-optometry etc with excellence. Feel free to add new services and overflow our parking lot! Lots of latitude. 

Surgically, we offer Symfony/PanOptix/Vivity and toric IOLs, iTrack canaloplasty, Hydrus/iStents, SLTs, PIs, blephs, and minor office adventures.  You will be intricately involved in the pre and post op care of these patients.  However, we refer out for trabs, cornea/refractive surgery, surgical retina, strabismus, and complex plastics...because we don't hate ourselves.

We are extremely spoiled, with every diagnostic/treatment gadget, including OCT angio, and a Formula One racing simulator that I plan to start using more, when you take this job.  We work our technicians, scribes, and opticians like rented mules, to make the docs' day easier. Our expert full-time IT, HR, and billing pit crew will keep your productivity maximized. 

You will make great money, with every benefit there is.  First year starting salary guarantee for newbies/recent grads will be 130k/year, plus a relocation/signing bonus of 10k.  Then, you'll ramp up based on an increasing percentage of net collections each year.  Prepare to be amazed!  I didn't want to have to do this, but to sweeten the deal, we'll even throw in bug spray, bear spray, a kite (it can get windy), and unlimited circus peanuts (the current office vice).

We're looking for a long-term relationship, with all the responsibilities that requires (yes, Colton, there will be on-call duties...and meetings).

It's always sunny inside Wolf Eye Center in suburban Wasilla, the cultural and commercial epicenter of the Mat-Su Valley in southcentral Alaska. It's a spectacular region of natural beauty with endless outdoor recreation possibilities (my personal favorites involve machines that go "brAAAPPP"), excellent schools, small town charm, actual cultural events, minimal traffic, no commuting, paltry sales tax, and no state income tax. Quick flights to Seattle and Hawaii help us feel somewhat connected to America.  

And, for you murderous neanderthals, there's tons of cute furry stuff to shoot at, and huge slimy critters with teeth in the rivers and lakes...so nasty.
