Scheduling may include working at any current or future General Optical location, and may include working MTWRF(½S). Lunch and end of the day starts after the last appointment slot arrives/no shows or 15 minutes after the last available time slot on the schedule if the spot is empty to be available for walk-ins. Day starts 10 minutes before opening hours. A full day schedule has a goal of 23 appointment slots, though each day fluctuates and the historical show-rate is about 16-18/full day. -Wages: (Hourly) - $50.98/Hr-$60.25/Hr depending on experience. Wages based without medical coverage. If in the future medical coverage is added through General Optical Company it would decrease the hourly wages based on the current insurance plan cost. Expected hours/year is based on 1874-2005 hours/year. 28 weeks of 37.5-40 hour weeks, 24 weeks of 30-32 hour weeks, plus 26-Saturdays. A full day consists of 7.5-8 hour days and Saturdays 4-5 hour days depending on which office you are scheduled. Additional hours are paid at same rate. Holidays will be paid when the holiday falls on a normally scheduled work day. Wages stop at the end of the contract. -Bonus: not guaranteed, based on signer performance, influence of signer driven dispensary upgrades, and signer driven sales of retail products ie: nutritional supplements and eye care products at the end of the calendar year? Plus up to 12% of collected medical billing pertaining to signer at the end of the calendar year or more frequent (calculations are at least a calendar quarter behind). If elected, Medical Insurance begins at 91 days after first physically present/working day. -Optical coverage: 1 gratis pair of glasses/anniversary year or 1 year supply of contacts/anniversary year for immediate family. Additional pairs for self and immediate family at wholesale (for frames, lenses, and treatments) according to catalog (ie: frame facts, not special pricing) + 25% (though no free remakes at this cost). Glasses worn at work need to be glasses that are available at General Optical. -Malpractice insurance included. -Long–term disability insurance included. -Paid Vacation days: 15 days per year. Vacation time cannot be rolled over. Vacation dates should be submitted at least 5 weeks prior. Preferred to avoid January, February, and 1st half of March, 2nd half of August, 1st half of September. -Continuing Ed days off: 4 per year. -Paid Optometrist license every 2 years. -Paid MOA dues every year. Up to $300/calendar year of continuing education with overages optionally withheld from pay. Continuing Ed days off not used are worth $100 each, up to $400/year. |
